School Swimming and Water Safety Charter

Many children learn to swim outside of school, but for some, primary school provides their only opportunity to acquire these vital lifesaving skills. Therefore, it is crucial to ensure that all primary schools receive the support needed to offer the best possible swimming and water safety education for their pupils.

The School Swimming and Water Safety Charter is free to join and offers a range of supporting materials for schools and lesson providers, helping to maximise the effectiveness of swimming and water safety lessons.

Schools and lesson providers need to register through our school swimming site! Once registered, you'll gain access to a members' area featuring a set of digital and downloadable resources.

The School Swimming and Water Safety Charter also has physical resources which can be used to motivate, track progress and rewards learners.
