Online water safety game

Swim England has developed this game as part of the Inspire 2022 project, funded by Sport England following the Commonwealth Games. It's designed to guide young people through various water scenarios, teaching them safety measures and how to avoid potential dangers.

Upon completing each section, players earn digital stickers and can then download their rewards to create a colourful poster.

The main goal was to provide a resource for school teachers, enabling them to teach water safety to students in years four to six (ages 8-11).

This online resource is versatile, suitable for smartboard use in whole-class settings, on school tablets for small groups or individual work, and can be utilised in other relevant settings such as swimming lessons.

Parents and caregivers can also engage with their children at home using this game to assess their water safety knowledge.
